Tim-bor Professional is a water soluble borate powder that can be applied directly to the wood members of structures for effective control of carpenter ants, drywood termites, wood decay fungi and wood boring beetles. Tim-bor insecticide / fungicide can be applied as a dust, spray, foam or mist onto wood and cellulose materials or inside wall voids, cracks and crevices.
For active subterranean termites, Tim-bor should be used in combination with other curative termite treatment options such as a liquid soil treatment or termite baiting program. Tim-bor should not be used as a stand-alone remedial treatment for subterranean termites.
Benefits & Use
Tim-bor Professional easily mixes with water to protect wooden structural members against drywood termites, carpenter ants, wood decay fungi, powderpost beetles, and old house borers. This odorless product will not stain wood surfaces.
Target Pests
Tim-bor Professional effectively kills, prevents, and/or controls infestations of decay fungi (including white rot, brown rot, and wet rots), subterranean termites, drywood termites, dampwood termites, powderpost beetles, false powderpost beetles, deathwatch beetles, furniture beetles, old house borers, longhorn beetles, carpenter ants, bark beetles, and timber beetles.
