  • Product Overview

    Taurus SC is a non-repellent suspension concentrate containing 9.1% Fipronil, the same concentration of active ingredient contained in Termidor SC. Taurus SC provides superior control of termites, including subterranean, drywood, and dampwoods, as well as spiders, ants, ticks, roaches, and many other insect pests.

    As a non-repellent insecticide, Taurus SC is undetectable to target insects, causing them to contact, ingest, and transfer the toxins to other members of their colony, resulting in total colony elimination.

    Important notes: Taurus SC is labeled for outdoor use only and is not permitted indoors, other than for localized void treatments for termites. When used for perimeter pest control, Taurus SC has restrictions on how many applications may be made each year based on other concentration applied. At the lowest concentration (.03%), Taurus SC may be applied up to 4 times per year. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

     

  • Benefits & Use

    Taurus SC offers a cost-effective alternative to Termidor SC with the same powerful active ingredient of Fipronil. The delayed mortality allows insects such as termites and ants to pick up lethal doses of the product and pass it along to other members of the colony before dying out. The typical result is elimination of ants within several days, and elimination of termite colonies within 90 days.

    Approved Sites: Taurus SC is approved for exterior use only, with the exception of interior termite treatments to wall voids.

    Application Information: Taurus SC is typically mixed at a rate of 0.8 oz. per gallon of water and applied according to label instructions based on target pests and application sites. At this dilution, one 20 oz. bottle will create 25 gallons of finished solution, and one 78 oz. bottle will make 100 gallons.
