Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait features the powerful active ingredient Emamectin benzoate, which impacts cockroaches at two different target sites, the nervous system and the muscular system. This one-two punch provides for quick cockroach elimination.
Optigard Roach Gel Bait may best be used within a rotational baiting strategy framework with products such as Syngenta's Advion Cockroach Gel Bait or Advion Evolution Cockroach Gel Bait.
Benefits & Use
Because cockroaches are known to adapt quickly, it is critically important to routinely rotate gel baits in order to minimize potential bait aversion and/or resistance. Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait, in combination with Advion Evolution and/or Advion Cockroach Gel Baits, make for an ideal bait rotation strategy on a monthly basis for optimal cockroach management.
Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait should be applied to areas inhabited by cockroaches as a crack-and-crevice treatment using a syringe applicator or a bait injector. Each bait placement should equal approximately 0.25 to 0.50 grams of product or be applied as a small line approximately 1/8 inch thick and approximately 2 inches long. Bait placements should be made into cracks, crevices, or voids at or near cockroach harborage or congregation areas. Numerous smaller bait placements is likely to provide faster control than fewer larger spots, especially for German Cockroaches.
Target Pests
Cockroaches: German, American, Australian, Oriental, Brown-Banded, Smoky Brown and Brown.
Approved Sites: Use sites include, but are not limited to, residential areas and institutional, warehousing and commercial establishments (including warehouses, food processing plants, animal production and processing facilities, restaurants, supermarkets, hospitals, nursing homes, motels, hotels, schools, apartments, aircraft, buses, boats/ships, and trains).
Application Information: For use only as a crack, crevice or void space treatment in residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial areas. Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait should not be applied to areas accessible to children, pets, or livestock.
Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait is intended for the control of cockroach pest species, including but not limited to German Roaches, American Roaches, Australian Roaches, Oriental Roaches, Brown-Banded Roaches, Smoky Brown Roaches, and Brown Roaches.
Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait is for use as a crack-and- crevice treatment and/or into openings leading to voids for the indoor and outdoor control of cockroaches.
