Merit 0.5G Insecticide Granules is a long-lasting, broad-spectrum granular insecticide effective against grubs and most commonly encountered pests of turfs and ornamentals. By interfering with insect nerve impulses in a way that causes pests to stop feeding and reproducing, this product works to eliminate existing pest populations quickly and provides ongoing residual protection.
Merit 0.5G is intended for use as a broadcast application on or around ornamentals and turfs in and around residential or commercial structures.

Target Pests
Merit 0.5G Insecticide is effective against a broad spectrum of turf and ornamental pests, including:
Turf pests: Billbug larvae; European crane flies; hairy chinch bugs; mole crickets; white grubs, including black turfgrass ataenius beetles, European chafers, Japanese beetles, May and June beetles, Northern masked chafers, Oriental beetles, and Southern masked chafers.
Ornamental pests: Adelgids, aphids, Asian long-horned beetles, borers, elm leaf beetles, emerald ash borers, hemlock woolly adelgids, Japanese and other leaf-feeding beetles, lace bugs, leafhoppers, leafminers, mealybugs, pine tip moths, royal palm bugs, sawfly larvae, scale insects, thrips (suppression), vine weevils, whiteflies.
Approved Sites: Residential and Commercial. Outdoor Use. Per label instructions.
Merit 0.5G Insecticide can be used on turfgrass in sites such as home lawns, business and office complexes, shopping complexes, multi-family residential complexes, golf courses, airports, cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields. Application Information: Please refer to the Merit 0.5G product label for complete application instructions and restrictions. Optimum control will be achieved when applications of Merit 0.5G are followed by sufficient mechanical incorporation, irrigation, or rainfall to move the active ingredient into the soil. Applications should be made prior to anticipated pest infestation to achieve optimum levels of control.
