Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait combines the powerful adulticide, Hydramethylnon, with (S)-Methroprene, a proven Insect Growth Regulator, for a quick knockdown of fire ants and a disruption of their reproductive cycle to achieve lasting results. Extinguish Plus will immediately begin to kill ants after they feed on the bait, but noticeable population decline may take about a week as the toxins are slowly transferred throughout the colony. The colony will ultimately be eliminated once the queen has been killed.

Approved for use on residential or commercial property, container or nursery stock, sod farms, commercial turf, pasture, and rangeland.
Application Information: Extinguish Plus should be applied when the treatment area is free from moisture, dew, or irrigation as the bait will become unattractive to ants when it becomes wet. Applications should not take place if rainfall is expected within 6 hours, and irrigation should be suspended for at least 24 hours following application.
For individual mound treatments, apply 2-5 tablespoons of Extinguish Plus uniformly around the surface of the mound with minimal disturbance. For Fire Ants or Harvester Ants, apply Extinguish Plus at a rate of 1-1.5 Lbs per acre evenly broadcast throughout the treatment area. For Big Headed Ants or Argentine Ants, apply at a rate of 1-2 Lbs per acre.
